SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and
certification company, is to host a complimentary webinar on BIFMA Compliant.
It will help commercial furniture manufacturers and importers understand and
benefit from the
Business
and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association’s (BIFMA’s)
new conformance program.

BIFMA’s Compliant Program is a 60-minute webinar that takes place on April 29,
2020. It will address BIFMA’s role in representing the commercial furniture industry
and provide insight into
its
voluntary program, which
aims to set conformance standards and ensure the easy identification of
safe and durable furniture
.

The webinar is open
to
product manufacturers, quality managers, design engineers, research and
development and all stakeholders active in the furniture market.
Participants will discover
how
they can test their products against BIFMA standards and gain access to
product listings on BIFMA’s registry of compliance.

Matthew McGarrity, Hardlines Technical Manager at SGS will lead the webinar.
