Join SGS in a three-part webinar about product radiofrequency exposure assessments.

SGS, the
world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company, will
host the webinars on Thursday January 14, 2021, presented by an SGS
radiofrequency expert.

Wireless
devices can be found in every part of our daily lives with brands adding
wireless technologies to new product designs and existing non-wireless
products. Further still, the Internet of Things (IoT) market in the United
States is expected to double over the next two to three years. Having a basic foundation
in SAR and maximum permissible exposure (MPE) testing will help to improve your
understanding of how RF exposure requirements apply to your products.

What will the webinar cover?

Choose one or more webinars from this three-part series:

  • Part 1 – Defines SAR and MPE and their primary differences
  • Part 2 – Explains the SAR testing system, device types, the capabilities
of the SGS Suwanee laboratory, the method of determining if SAR testing is
required, and the information laboratories need to provide a quote
  • Part 3 – Details the primary SAR standards including those for the
U.S./Canada and the European Union, and an overview of low power exclusions
